App

For this project, I was tasked with creating an app for college students to easily book office hour appointments with their professors. My app is called "Simple Study" and it is not directly linked to a specific school but instead was built for everyone. My main focus was how realistic and smooth the app turned out. I also cared a lot about usability and accessibility throughout the entire app. 

Below are my basic "wireframes" of the app. As you can see in the picture at the bottom of the screen, the app progressed greatly from this stage to the final product. Each individual screen below allowed the user to continue with one action until an appointment was booked. The idea behind creating my wireframes was to be able to navigate through the entire app before I designed it and added more layers on top of what I already had. 

A lot of different challenges presented themselves while creating this assignment. I believe the biggest challenge for me was creating a consistent design that would be able to flow nicely. I also found some trouble in thinking everything through and not leaving out any screens that would prevent my users from being able to get through the app completely in a usability test.
